American Muslims Under Attack: Allen West Hosts Congress Screening Of Anti-Islam

Allen West Hosts Congress Screening Of Anti-Islam 9/11 NYC Mosque Film

9/?11 and the efforts of the anti-?Muslim community to stop the building of the so-?called “Ground Zero Mosque.” The makers of the film, the Christian Action Network (CAN), have been refused a permit by the City of New York to allow the film to be screened in public parks. CAN, and the American Center for Law & Justice, are now threatening a lawsuit against New York City.

“We are truly honored to have Congressman West sponsor this event, and take his time to host these 9/?11 family members and show his opposition to the Ground Zero Mosque,” said Jason Campbell, Projects Director for the Christian Action Network. “The film will be screened following brief remarks from Congressman West and 9/?11 family members.”

“Sacrificed Survivors: The Untold Story of the Ground Zero Mega-?Mosque,” CAN’s anti-?Islam film, (trailer, below,) claims Muslims “are planting the seeds of Sharia throughout the nation.”

“The film will include undercover footage at the mosque?—?Yes, the controversial mosque is already constructed and holds services every Friday. The proposal in question is to expand this facility into a 13-?story, $100 million Islamic center within eye’s view of the former site of the World Trade Center.

“This film is not your ordinary story-?telling documentary. It is not a film that shows people protesting and fancy speeches on the topic,” said Jason Campbell, CAN’s Projects Director.

“It is a 45-?minute film that is fueled by the testimony of the survivors and the families of the victims of the attacks of September 11, 2001. It is about how they feel about the mosque being built on the site where their loved ones lost their lives,” he said.

In “Sacrificed Survivors,” CAN’s staff go undercover into the mosque so the viewer can see the prayer room that is already being used and feel like they are a part of the drama that is unfolding in New York City.”

CAN writes on its website, “The event will go from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM in Room B-?339 at the Rayburn Congressional Office Building. A light lunch will be provided.” One wonders if the meal will be paid for with your tax dollars?

Also, why is Rep. Allen West hosting a film about New York City?—?an area not in his Florida district? And, is there a separation of church and state issue here too?
