Do not Break Your Fast (+Cartoon)

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “Whoever fasted the month of Ramadan out of sincere Faith (i.e. belief) and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his past sins will be forgiven, and whoever stood for the prayers in the night of Qadr out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven .”

Brothers and sisters,   staying hydrated at the night hours is important in this hot weather.  drink at least 4 bottles or 8 to ten cup (8 oz) servings in the hours between sundown and dawn.   The dryness in the throat i noticed isnt any worse a few hours into fast or 16 hours into fast….,  it is all uncomfortable.  Try to stay busy or rest, whatever helps you to ignore it.  I do notice prayer and Quran help and wudu to cool the face, and cool showers feel refreshing also…..May Allah make your days easy for you and deeply rewarding inshallah… from a sister….
