Abu Qatadah reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, you will never leave anything for the sake of Allah Almighty but that Allah will replace it with something better.”Source: Musnad Aḥmad : Sahih (authentic)
A’isha reported that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) never beat anyone with his hand, neither a woman nor a servant, but only, in the case when he had been fighting in the cause of Allah and he never took revenge for anything unless the things made inviolable by Allah were made violable; he then took revenge for Allah, the Exalted and Glorious”(MUSLIM).
“The Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate, saying (which means) : “My Lord, aid me and do not aid against me, and grant me victory and do not grant victory over me, plot for me and do not plot against me, guide me and facilitate guidance for me, grant me victory over those who transgress against me. My Lord, make me ever-grateful to You, ever-remembering of You, ever-fearful of You, ever-obedient to You, ever-humble to You, oft-turning and returning to You. My Lord, accept my repentance, wash my sin, answer my call, make firm my proof, make firm my tongue, guide my heart, and remove the treachery of my chest”
The Prophet of Islam said (what means): “Do you not want me to inform you, who is the believer? The Mu`min (believer) is the one from whom the people feel secure in their properties and selves, and the Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the other Muslims are safe, and the Mujahid is the one who struggles with himself for obeying Allah and the Muhajir (Emigrant) is the one who leaves the (sayiyat) sins and or something makes you ashamed or embarrassed on the Judgment Day”(Ahmad/authentic)
Narrated Abu Bakr: I said to the Prophet (ﷺ) while I was in the Cave. “If any of them should look under his feet, he would see us.” He said, “O Abu Bakr! What do you think of two (persons) the third of whom is Allah?”(Sahih al-Bukhari)
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَنَا فِي الْغَارِ لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ نَظَرَ تَحْتَ قَدَمَيْهِ لأَبْصَرَنَا. فَقَالَ “ مَا ظَنُّكَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ بِاثْنَيْنِ اللَّهُ ثَالِثُهُمَا ”.
Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “When you stand for Salaah then perform Salaah like a person bidding farewell (to everything besides Allah Ta’ala), and don’t utter such words for which you will have to present an excuse tomorrow (on the day of Qiyaamah), and make a firm determination to be despondent (not to desire) of what people possess.” (Authentic Hadith/Ibn Majah)
Jundub ibn Abdullah reported: “We were with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while we were strong young boys. We learned faith before we learned the Quran, then we learned the Quran and it strengthened our faith” (Sunan Ibn Mājah)

The Prophet Muhammad has urged people to fast this day. Abu Qataadah narrated that the Prophet Muhammad was asked about observing the fast on the day of ‘Arafah, he replied: “’Arafah’s fasting removes the sins of two years: the last and thecoming year.”[ Muslim)”. The Prophet said, “The sun and the moon are two signs of Allah; they are not eclipsed on account of anyone’s death or on account of anyone’s birth. So when you see them, glorify and supplicate Allah, observe prayer, give alms. O Ummah of Muhammad, none is more indignant than Allah When His servant or maid commits fornication. O people of Muhammad, by Allah, if you knew what I know, you would weep much and laugh little.”
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “While a man was walking in a fine garment with his hair well-combed and he was arrogantly impressed with himself, Allah caused the earth to swallow him. He will continue falling until the Day of Resurrection.”( Bukhari and Muslim)
