عَنْ سَلْمَانَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ” مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فِي بَيْتِهِ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ فَهُوَ زَائِرُ اللَّهِ وَحَقٌّ عَلَى الْمَزُورِ أَنْ يُكْرِم الزائر ” المعجكم الكبير للطبراني وصحيح الترغيب

Allah says (which means): “Say: O ‘Ibaadi (My servants) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allaah, verily, Allaah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful” [al-Zumar 39:53].
It means: If a person repents sincerely, his previous bad deeds will be erased and the reward for his good deeds will be restored for him.
The fact that a person committed a sin knowing that it was a sin does not prevent him from repenting. There are three conditions for repentance: giving up the sin, regretting what one has done, and resolving not to go back to the sin. If the rights of any human beings were affected, then it is essential to restore them to him or to ask him to let one off. And everyone who disobeys Allah is ignorant.
Allaah has described the Noble Qur’aan with a number of magnificient characteristics of which Ibn Qudaamah mentioned eight in points 27 – 30 of Lum‘atul-I‘tiqaad.
They are as follows:
1. That it is clear (mubeen) and makes clear the laws and reports which it contains.
2. That it is Allaah’s firm rope (Hablullaah), that is, it is the solid contract which Allaah made a reason for reaching Himself and the attainment of success by His Grace… more at: nusrah.com
