“Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth?” (Qur’an 27:62) Allah has also promised that as long as we are not hasty, He…
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “On the first night of the month of Ramadan, the devils are chained, the jinn are restrained, and the gates of Hellfire are closed and none of its gates are opened. The gates of Paradise are opened and none of its gates are closed. A caller announces: O seeker of good, come near! O seeker of evil, stop short! Allah will save them from the Hellfire and that is during every night of Ramadan” (Sunan At-Tirmidhi )
To You, my Lord, I complain of my weakness, lack of support and the humiliation I am made to receive. Most Compassionate and Merciful! You are the Lord of the weak, and you are my Lord. To whom do You leave me? To a distant person who receives me with hostility? Or to an enemy You have given power over me?As long as you are not displeased with me, I do not care what I face. I would, however, be much happier with Your mercy.I seek refuge in the light of Your face by which all darkness is dispelled and both this life and the life to come are put in their right course against incurring your wrath or being the subject of your anger. To You I submit, until I earn Your pleasure. Everything is powerless without your support.

The Prophet ﷺ said: Allah is more plentiful in responding.” [at-Tirmidhi, Al–Hakim’s version adds: “…Or lays up an equivalent reward for him.”].
Omar said: “Duaa (Supplication) is suspended between heaven and earth and none of it is taken up until you send blessings upon your Prophet salla-lahu alayhi wa aalihi wa sahbihi sallam.” [At-Tirmidhi]
