Tag: Evil

Narrated Zainab: The Prophet got up from his sleep with a flushed red face and said, None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Woe to the Arabs, from the Great evil that is nearly approaching them. Today a gap has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this. (Sufyan illustrated by this forming the number 90 or 100 with his fingers.) It was asked, Shall we be destroyed though there are righteous people among us? The Prophet said, Yes, if evil increased.REFERENCE: Sahih Al Bukhari

“When sin is committed on the earth, then whoever witnesses it and hates – (once he said): forbids it, will be like those who did not witness it. Whoever was absent from it, but agreed with it, will be like those who witness it.”(Saying of the Prophet Muhammad – authentic Hadith)

The Prophet ﷺ said (in the meaning), “Whenever a Muslim supplicates Allah, He grants his supplication or avert a harm from him of equal proportions, as long as he does not supplicate for something sinful or something that would cut off the ties of kinship.” Thereupon someone said: Then we shall supplicate plenty. The Prophet ﷺ said: Allah is more plentiful in responding.” [at-Tirmidhi, Al–Hakim’s version adds: “…Or lays up an equivalent reward for him.”].

“O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Surah Az-Zumar 39:53)

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Seek refuge in Allah against the turmoils, attacks of misfortunes, and evil of judgement and joys of the enemies.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
“O Allah, I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being overpowered by men.“(Saheeh Bukhari.)

Try Not To Laugh!

The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “The example of a good companion in comparison with a bad one, is like that of the musk seller and the blacksmith’s bellows (or furnace); from the first you would either buy musk or enjoy its good smell while the bellows would either burn your clothes or your house, or you get a bad nasty smell thereof” [Bukhari].

Good vs Evil

“And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend.’ more: (The Holy Qur’aan)……
