Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday will have a light between this Friday and the next.” In another narration, the Prophet said, “Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf as it was revealed, there will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection.”

Aws ibn Aws reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, the best of your days is Friday. Adam was created on it, and on it he died, and on it the trumpet will be blown and the shout will be made, so send blessings upon me for your blessings are presented to me.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, how will our supplications reach you once you have decayed?” The Prophet said, “Verily, Allah the Exalted has forbidden the bodies of the prophets from decaying.” Source: Sunan Abu Dawud- : Sahih (authentic) according to An-Nawawi
