……What we find alarming however, was the reaction of audience seated in the House of Representatives chamber after the president remarked, ‘It’s why we continue to reject offensive stereotypes of Muslims – the vast majority of whom share our commitment to peace.’  The audience, which was made up of senators, congressmen, members of the supreme court and other senior officials of government of both political parties, reacted in silence.
