Here, again, is a time of Mercy, of Forgiving, of Patience and Unity.
Jesus, Moses and many more used to celebrate it in a time long past.
And what is this time?
It is the time of fasting with love and obedience to God (the universal God), my lord and your lord, who says: ” O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you be Godly and righteous” 2:183
Your Muslim neighbors, at the Islamic Center, want to share with you this blessed time, in which, the Gospel, Bible, and the Qur’an were revealed, and, by so doing, to strengthen neighborly ties and friendship.

Your Muslim neighbors will fast (Sawm) for thirty days; from dawn to dusk, as Jesus, Moses, Mohammad, Abraham and all Prophets used to Fasttt. This is our Fast of Ramadan, an annual obligation for Muslims.
